The walk
5.3 km out-and-back walk between San Nazzaro Val Cavargna and San Bartolomeo Val Cavargna, 351 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 1162 and 1307 m above sea level. After the walk: lunch at Aquila d’Oro in Dosso del Liro (12.0 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

By car
From Como: about 45 min (32 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
