The walk
4.1 km out-and-back walk between Cusino and Garzeno, up to Passo d'Ailgua, 349 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 1600 and 1919 m above sea level. After the walk: lunch at Aquila d’Oro in Dosso del Liro (9.3 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

By car
From Como: about 50 min (35 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
