The walk
5.2 km out-and-back walk between Val Rezzo and Cavargna, up to Passo San Lucio, 136 m of total ascent: about 1 h 30 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 1396 and 1532 m above sea level. After the walk: lunch at Aquila d’Oro in Dosso del Liro (16.0 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Como: about 45 min (30 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
