6.1 km out-and-back walk between Borgomanero and Gargallo, up to Gargallo cimitero, bivio NOAT38-NOAS38, almost flat (+79 m): about 1 h 45 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail. Along the way: Chiesa di San Pietro Apostolo. After the walk: wine tasting at Santuvario (2.4 km) and lunch at Impero in Sizzano (14.9 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Stresa: about 30 min (20 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
