The walk
7.6 km out-and-back walk between Boca and Grignasco, 374 m of total ascent: about 2 h 45 min of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 377 and 708 m above sea level. After the walk: wine tasting at Podere ai Valloni (1.0 km) and lunch at Impero in Sizzano (12.2 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Stresa: about 35 min (25 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
