The walk
6.9 km out-and-back walk between Carrara and Luni, up to Percorso 362, 457 m of total ascent: about 2 h 45 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail. Along the way: Chiesa di San Lorenzo, Santuario di Nostra Signora del Mirteto and Villa della Costaccia. After the walk: wine tasting at La Pietra del Focolare (1.1 km) and lunch at Da Fiorella in Luni (1.6 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From La Spezia: about 25 min (18 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
