The walk
4.1 km out-and-back walk near Noasca, up to Bivio 552, quota 1900, 333 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 1645 and 1916 m above sea level. After the walk: lunch at La Brasserie du Bon Bec in Cogne (16.3 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Aosta: about 45 min (31 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
