The walk
5.2 km out-and-back walk near Chialamberto, up to Bivio 324-325A, Alpe Vailet, 413 m of total ascent: about 2 h 30 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 2202 and 2408 m above sea level. Along the way: Bivacco Cecilia Genisio and Punta Pian Spigo.
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Aosta: about 55 min (37 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
