The walk
4.2 km out-and-back walk between Moiola and Borgo San Dalmazzo, 180 m of total ascent: about 1 h 30 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 1102 and 1207 m above sea level. After the walk: lunch at Locanda del Falco in Valdieri (4.9 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Cuneo: about 20 min (12 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
