The walk
4.0 km out-and-back walk between Valdieri and Demonte, up to Moiola, Cima Pissousa, bivio CNAP68A-CNAP71B, 348 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 1286 and 1633 m above sea level. After the walk: lunch at Locanda del Falco in Valdieri (2.0 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

By car
From Cuneo: about 25 min (16 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
