The walk
5.3 km out-and-back walk between Lecco and Brumano, up to Bocca di Palio, 392 m of total ascent: about 2 h 15 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 1116 and 1381 m above sea level. After the walk: lunch at Sali e Tabacchi in Mandello del Lario (13.0 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Bergamo: about 35 min (25 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
