The walk
4.5 km out-and-back walk between Brumano and Morterone, up to Passo del Palio, 427 m of total ascent: about 2 h 15 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 994 and 1361 m above sea level. After the walk: lunch at Sali e Tabacchi in Mandello del Lario (13.7 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

By train and bus
