The walk
7.9 km out-and-back walk near Santa Sofia, up to Prati della Burraia, 428 m of total ascent: about 2 h 45 min of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 1120 and 1461 m above sea level. After the walk: wine tasting at Podere della Civettaja (5.4 km) and lunch at La Tana degli Orsi in Pratovecchio Stia (8.5 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.
