The walk
5.4 km out-and-back walk near Santa Sofia, up to San Paolo in Alpe, 443 m of total ascent: about 2 h 30 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 694 and 1019 m above sea level. After the walk: wine tasting at Podere della Civettaja (9.5 km) and lunch at La Tana degli Orsi in Pratovecchio Stia (11.4 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.
