The walk
5.6 km out-and-back walk near Gressoney-Saint-Jean, up to Col Ranzola, 228 m of total ascent: about 1 h 45 min of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 1775 and 1923 m above sea level. Along the way: Colle Ranzola and Punta Regina. After the walk: lunch at Al Maniero in Issogne (15.5 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Aosta: about 1 h (39 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
