The walk
5.3 km out-and-back walk near Castrovillari, up to Monte Sant'Angelo, 355 m of total ascent: about 2 h 15 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 395 and 749 m above sea level. After the walk: wine tasting at Cantine Viola (5.2 km) and lunch at Da Peppe in Rotonda (18.5 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.
