The walk
5.3 km out-and-back walk between Casina and Vezzano sul Crostolo, up to Montalto, 348 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 451 and 719 m above sea level. After the walk: wine tasting at Tenuta di Aljano (9.4 km) and lunch at Arrogant Pub in Reggio nell’Emilia (15.5 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.
