The walk
4.1 km out-and-back walk near Linguaglossa, up to Strada provinciale Mareneve, almost flat (+100 m): about 1 h 15 min of walking. Easy paths and dirt roads, between 1075 and 1145 m above sea level. After the walk: wine tasting at Aitala Vini dell'Etna (5.0 km) and lunch at 4 Archi in Milo (8.2 km).
Easy path (grade T): wide tracks and short climbs, trainers are fine in dry weather.

From Catania: about 50 min (34 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
