The walk
4.2 km out-and-back walk near Follo, up to Pie’ di Foce, 417 m of total ascent: about 2 h 15 min of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail. After the walk: wine tasting at Cerrolungo (6.7 km) and lunch at La Burlanda in Fosdinovo (11.7 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

By car
From La Spezia: about 10 min (8 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
Take a train to La Spezia, then a regional bus or a taxi for the last stretch. Our link plans the whole trip with Google Maps public transport.
