The walk
6.3 km out-and-back walk between Sutri and Bassano Romano, up to 266, 293 m of total ascent: about 2 h 15 min of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail. After the walk: wine tasting at Cantina Morichelli (3.6 km) and lunch at Iotto in Campagnano di Roma (13.7 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Viterbo: about 40 min (26 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
