The walk
6.4 km out-and-back walk between Brignano-Frascata and Cecima, up to Ca' del Monte, 161 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 584 and 681 m above sea level. After the walk: wine tasting at Poggio Paolo di Matteo Poggio (2.2 km) and lunch at Buscone in Varzi (11.4 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Genoa: about 1 h 10 min (46 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
