The walk
4.9 km out-and-back walk near Castiglione dei Pepoli, up to Case Berni, 333 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 597 and 776 m above sea level. After the walk: lunch at Da Alberto in Barberino di Mugello (10.3 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.
