The walk
6.4 km out-and-back walk between Camugnano and Vernio, up to La Faggeta, almost flat (+21 m): about 1 h 45 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 1166 and 1195 m above sea level. Along the way: Monte della Scoperta and Poggio delle Vecchiette. After the walk: lunch at Da Alberto in Barberino di Mugello (12.7 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.
