The walk
5.8 km loop between Ceva and Sale San Giovanni, 278 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 461 and 602 m above sea level. After the walk: wine tasting at Cantina Magliano (7.7 km) and lunch at Da Vittorio in Nucetto (5.6 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Alba: about 50 min (34 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
