The walk
4.7 km out-and-back walk near Schilpario, up to Pizzo Tornello, 330 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 2363 and 2609 m above sea level. After the walk: lunch at Al Resù in Lozio (10.1 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Sondrio: about 35 min (23 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
