4.9 km out-and-back walk near Schilpario, up to Lago di Valbona, 441 m of total ascent: about 2 h 30 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 1983 and 2210 m above sea level. Along the way: Lago di Valbona. After the walk: wine tasting at Cantina Concarena (9.6 km) and lunch at Al Resù in Lozio (6.0 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Sondrio: about 40 min (28 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
