The walk
6.7 km out-and-back walk between Eupilio and Canzo, up to Alpe di Carella, 178 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Easy paths and dirt roads. After the walk: lunch at Sali e Tabacchi in Mandello del Lario (8.5 km).
Easy path (grade T): wide tracks and short climbs, trainers are fine in dry weather.

From Como: about 25 min (17 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
