The walk
4.2 km out-and-back walk between Eupilio and Canzo, up to Canzo, 363 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Waymarked hiking trail. Along the way: Teatro Sociale and Chiesa di Santo Stefano. After the walk: lunch at Sali e Tabacchi in Mandello del Lario (8.7 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Como: about 25 min (16 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
