Rifugio Premuda to Vedetta di Crogole

The walk

4.6 km out-and-back walk near Comune di San Dorligo della Valle, up to Vedetta di Crogole bivio sentiero 001 (quota 231 m), 244 m of total ascent: about 1 h 45 min of walking. Easy paths and dirt roads. Along the way: Bagnoli Superiore, Rifugio Mario Premuda and Bagnoli della Rosandra. After the walk: wine tasting at Kocjancic Rado (0.0 km) and lunch at Antica Trattoria Suban in Trieste (5.8 km).

Easy path (grade T): wide tracks and short climbs, trainers are fine in dry weather.

How to get there

Country buses run less often on Sundays and holidays, and some not at all: check the return journey before you set off.
