The walk
4.4 km out-and-back walk between Valgoglio and Gandellino, up to Baita Alta del Cardeto, 343 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 1945 and 2135 m above sea level. After the walk: lunch at Trattoria delle Miniere in Lenna (17.8 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.
