The walk
5.6 km out-and-back walk between Grottaferrata and Monte Porzio Catone, up to Monte Tuscolo, 290 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 408 and 663 m above sea level. After the walk: wine tasting at Merumalia (2.5 km) and lunch at ’Na Fojetta in Frascati (2.6 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Rome: about 30 min (20 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
