The walk
4.2 km out-and-back walk near Matelica, 344 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 395 and 707 m above sea level. After the walk: wine tasting at Gagliardi (3.7 km) and lunch at Osteria SanBiagio in Fabriano (10.7 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.
