The walk
6.7 km out-and-back walk near Borgo d'Anaunia, up to Crosara (bivio 513), 240 m of total ascent: about 2 h 15 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 1472 and 1634 m above sea level. After the walk: wine tasting at Weingut/ Tenuta Romen (4.1 km) and lunch at Nerina in Romeno (13.0 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Bolzano: about 20 min (14 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
