Lillaz to Grand Crot

The walk
7.4 km out-and-back walk , up to Grand Crot, 315 m of total ascent: about 2 h 30 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 1598 and 1919 m above sea level. After the walk: lunch at Lou Ressignon in Cogne (2.2 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

By car
From Aosta: about 25 min (17 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
Take a train to Aosta, then a regional bus or a taxi for the last stretch. Our link plans the whole trip with Google Maps public transport.
