Epinel to Gimillan

The walk
6.4 km out-and-back walk , up to Gimillan, 136 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Easy paths and dirt roads, between 1459 and 1519 m above sea level. After the walk: lunch at La Brasserie du Bon Bec in Cogne (0.8 km).
Easy path (grade T): wide tracks and short climbs, trainers are fine in dry weather.

From Aosta: about 20 min (14 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
