The walk
4.0 km out-and-back walk near Lagonegro, up to Monte del Papa, 402 m of total ascent: about 2 h 15 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail. After the walk: lunch at Taverna Nonna Vera in Latronico (16.1 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

By car
From Sapri: about 30 min (20 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
Take a train to Sapri, then a regional bus or a taxi for the last stretch. Our link plans the whole trip with Google Maps public transport.
