The walk
7.2 km out-and-back walk , up to Col d'Ameran, 292 m of total ascent: about 2 h 30 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 1441 and 1701 m above sea level. After the walk: wine tasting at Brunet Piero Morgex Aosta (4.7 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

By car
From Aosta: about 35 min (25 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
