The walk
8.0 km out-and-back walk between Carvico and Sotto il Monte Giovanni XXIII, up to Monte Canto (incrocio 891), 421 m of total ascent: about 3 h of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 307 and 630 m above sea level. After the walk: wine tasting at Tosca (1.1 km) and lunch at Visconti in Ambivere (3.9 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.
