The walk
5.8 km out-and-back walk between Carvico and Pontida, up to Il Canto (incrocio 891), 461 m of total ascent: about 2 h 45 min of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 305 and 653 m above sea level. Along the way: Monte Canto. After the walk: wine tasting at Tosca (1.3 km) and lunch at Visconti in Ambivere (4.5 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Bergamo: about 20 min (15 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
