The walk
7.4 km out-and-back walk between Camaiore and Pescaglia, up to Foce del Crocione, 481 m of total ascent: about 3 h of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 889 and 1088 m above sea level. After the walk: wine tasting at Tenuta Mareli (5.6 km) and lunch at Peposo in Pietrasanta (10.0 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

By car
From Lucca: about 30 min (20 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
