7.7 km out-and-back walk near Pescaglia, up to Pascoso, 481 m of total ascent: about 3 h of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 889 and 1088 m above sea level. After the walk: wine tasting at Tenuta Mareli (6.2 km) and lunch at Peposo in Pietrasanta (10.0 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Lucca: about 30 min (19 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
