The walk
4.3 km out-and-back walk between Grignasco and Borgosesia, up to Spalla del Monte Fenera, bivio VCA768-VCA770, 424 m of total ascent: about 2 h 15 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 339 and 739 m above sea level. Along the way: Strona di Valduggia. After the walk: wine tasting at Carlone (3.5 km) and lunch at Impero in Sizzano (16.8 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

By car
From Stresa: about 40 min (27 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
