The walk
4.6 km out-and-back walk between Fiuminata and Pioraco, 370 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 754 and 1036 m above sea level. After the walk: wine tasting at Borgo Paglianetto (7.4 km) and lunch at Osteria SanBiagio in Fabriano (15.4 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Assisi: about 50 min (34 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
