The walk
6.1 km out-and-back walk between Sarzana and Aulla, up to Via Francigena, 275 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Easy paths and dirt roads. Along the way: Chiesa dei Santi Fabiano e Sebastiano. After the walk: wine tasting at Il Monticello (1.5 km) and lunch at La Burlanda in Fosdinovo (3.0 km).
Easy path (grade T): wide tracks and short climbs, trainers are fine in dry weather.

By train and bus
