The walk
7.1 km out-and-back walk between Oleggio Castello and Arona, up to Paruzzaro, località San Eufemia, bivio NOAVA3-NOAVA1-NOAVA2, 167 m of total ascent: about 2 h 15 min of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail. After the walk: wine tasting at Cascina Piano (3.5 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Stresa: about 20 min (12 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
