The walk
7.5 km out-and-back walk near Comune di Ayas, up to Col Pillonnet, almost flat (+113 m): about 2 h of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 1725 and 1853 m above sea level. After the walk: lunch at Al Maniero in Issogne (17.2 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

By car
From Aosta: about 40 min (29 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
