The walk
7.2 km out-and-back walk between Montemurlo and Prato, up to Figline Pian di Gello, 465 m of total ascent: about 2 h 45 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail. Along the way: Pieve di San Pietro a Figline, Tabernacolo di Sant'Anna and Figline di Prato. After the walk: lunch at La Bottegaia in Pistoia (11.8 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.
