7.3 km out-and-back walk near Zelbio, up to Il Dosso, 459 m of total ascent: about 2 h 45 min of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 770 and 1003 m above sea level. Along the way: Pian del Tivano and Chiesa della Conversione di San Paolo. After the walk: lunch at Sali e Tabacchi in Mandello del Lario (9.8 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

By car
From Como: about 20 min (14 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
