The walk
5.8 km out-and-back walk , up to Frazione Pieve, bivio ALA570-ALA543B, 249 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail. Along the way: Saquana. After the walk: wine tasting at 3 Cantine ss di Carlotta Farina & C (1.1 km) and lunch at Cacciatori in Cartosio (1.2 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Alba: about 50 min (34 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
