The walk
4.4 km out-and-back walk near Scanno, up to Sentiero 26, 190 m of total ascent: about 1 h 30 min of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 1548 and 1623 m above sea level. After the walk: lunch at Clemente in Sulmona (18.8 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Sulmona: about 30 min (20 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
